With a robust 10″ cutting surface terminating in two sharp horns or points, the longer top point is traditionally used for stabbing, gouging, or parrying, while the slightly shorter bottom point is employed to capture an opponent’s shield or to hook and immobilize various body parts. To enhance leverage, strength, and dexterity of movement, the Viking Axe is equipped with a resilient haft made from the finest hickory available in Maine. This hickory haft amplifies the axe’s lethal potential as a cutting, chopping, and stabbing weapon.
