Designed by renowned custom knifemaker Jonathan McNees, this second-generation version of the PM Mac 2 is enhanced with premium materials and thoughtful upgrades that make it an ideal EDC (Everyday Carry) knife for collectors and users alike. Built around a flat-ground, spear point blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, this knife offers superior edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. One of the major highlights of this model is the distinctive “Swerve” milling pattern, applied to both the show side and lock side titanium scales. Improvements over the Gen 1 version include a refined, fully machined clip area, precision threaded standoffs, and the use of USA-made hardware throughout, including Delrin-caged ceramic bearings for ultra-smooth deployment via dual thumb studs. Every element, from the titanium frame lock construction to the fine-tuned lockbar and detent work, showcases McNees’ dedication to maintaining full U.S. production. Much of the finishing work, including detent setting, lock fitting, and sharpening, is still done in-house at McNees’ shop in Alabama, ensuring custom-level quality in every piece.
