At 25% smaller than the Combat Troodon, the Troodon features a slender design and easier-to-fire action mechanism. The design caters to a wider audience needing the utilitarian functionality of an OTF, but without the heft of a full-size Combat Troodon.
The Microtech Troodon OTF (out the front) knife is named after the Troodon (Troh O Don) Dinosaur and features a single edged blade. Thedrop point style 3″ blade an be manually operated with a thumb slide located on the handle. The Microtech Troodon T6 6061 aluminum handle measures 4.25″ and features finger grooves for added grip. It features a glass breaker end and includes a pocket clip and drawstring pouch. The Troodon fires hard and delivers the kind of performance you would expect from a Microtech Knives creation. An excellent tactical knife choice for those wanting reliability and field capability.
