The Microtech – 169RL-1FLOD – Stitch RAM-LOK, released in 2023, represents a significant advancement in knife technology, debuting alongside the MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) as one of Microtech’s first blades to incorporate the innovative RAM-LOK technology. This robust crossbar lock system features Microtech’s distinctive step pattern, renowned from the Ultratech series’ actuation switches. The large blade cutout facilitates various opening methods, including reverse middle finger flicks and standard slow-roll thumb openings, even with gloves. Alternatively, pulling down on the RAM-LOK allows the blade to fly open effortlessly with a simple wrist flick. The aluminum handles, smooth yet slightly textured, provide excellent grip in both standard and reverse positions. Rugged, durable, and proudly made in the USA, the MSI is anticipated to become a favorite among knife enthusiasts. The Microtech Stitch is a result of a tactical collaboration between Tony Marfione and Sebastijan Berenji, also known as Borka. This collaboration blends Sebastijan’s impressive Stitch design with Tony’s exceptional opening mechanisms, creating a standout production knife.
