The Stroup Knives DF1 Desert Fox, model DF1-CAMOL-G10, is a mission-ready fixed blade forged for durability, control, and combat utility. Crafted by hand in the USA using 1095 high carbon steel, this blade is engineered to withstand rigorous field use in both tactical and survival environments. Designed in collaboration with a former member of the Israeli Special Forces, the DF1 blends aggressive styling with practical field performance. At the core of the Desert Fox is a 3.25-inch modified clip point blade with a flat grind that maximizes cutting power while maintaining superior edge retention and strength. The 1095 high carbon steel is heat-treated to a Rockwell hardness of 58-59 HRC, offering a dependable balance between toughness and sharpenability. Whether slicing through dense materials or carving in precision work, this blade delivers under pressure. The handle is constructed from milled Camo G10, offering a secure, ergonomic grip even in wet or gloved conditions.
