The Neutron 2 by Three Rivers Manufacturing (TRM) is a refined evolution of the original Neutron, delivering the same high-performance features with new enhancements that knife enthusiasts have been clamoring for. After its initial launch in 2018, the Neutron quickly became a hit, but TRM responded to the demand for a deep pocket carry clip and more scale options by releasing the Neutron 2, affectionately known as the “NEWtron,” in September 2019.

This updated version introduces pocketed liners that allow for a broader selection of scale materials and designs, including 3D milled options, carbon fiber, Fat Carbon, Micarta, G10, G11, and Tek-Wood. The scale hole patterns have been repositioned to accommodate either a deep pocket titanium clip or a classic bent titanium clip, which is available separately.

While the Neutron 2 offers these new customization options, it retains the same reliable features as its predecessor: a slim 0.090″ blade stock, a 3″ CPM MagnaCut blade, and custom-made titanium thumb studs and barrel spacers. Lightweight at just 2.5 ounces and razor-sharp right out of the box, the Neutron 2 is sleek, precise, and built to last.

Every Neutron 2 is proudly made in the USA, using high-quality materials sourced domestically (with the exception of Fat Carbon, which hails from Lithuania). TRM ensures that each knife is 100% manufactured and assembled in the USA, with “USA” etched on every blade as a mark of their commitment to quality.
