It matches the visual styling of SIG Legion firearms, carrying premium finishes and hardware details that deliver both form and function. Crafted to stand up to field work, this knife features a 5.5-inch A2 tool steel blade treated through precision cryogenic heat treatment to enhance toughness and resilience. The blade design is a tanto profile with expansive rear saw teeth, offering superior piercing capability, robust tip strength, and enhanced utility. The thickness at the spine of the blade is approximately a quarter-inch, providing mass for chopping or prying tasks, while the flat grind and hand-honed edge ensure sharpness and precise cutting. The handle is built for secure grip under stress. Solid black G10 scales with a checkered texture help maintain traction even in wet or gloved conditions. An impact pommel at the butt adds functionality for striking or breaking. Additional features include lanyard or lashing holes to affix the knife securely or carry it on gear. To complete system integration, the EX-F01 includes an Automatic Retention Sheath (ARS™) along with a Torx tool for sheath adjustment and maintenance, and a nickel-silver SIG medallion with clear Cerakote finish for aesthetic consistency with SIG firearms gear. Light enough to carry yet substantial enough for hard tasks, the overall length of the knife is 10.5 inches, with a blade portion of 5.5 inches.
