The BlackWash™ Leek is fitted with Kershaw’s SpeedSafe® ambidextrous assisted opening system, allowing for smooth and quick blade deployment. Whether you are left-handed or right-handed, you can easily operate the knife by either pulling back on the blade protrusion or pushing outwards on the thumbstud. For added safety, the knife features a frame lock mechanism, ensuring the blade stays securely in place during use. Additionally, a Tip-Lock slider locks the blade in the closed position when not in use, preventing accidental openings. The pocketclip is reversible, allowing for both tip-up and tip-down carry preferences, and the handle is drilled to accept a lanyard for additional convenience.
